Meet Dr. Combs!
Dr. Andrew Combs (Andy Combs) earned his bachelor's degree with distinction in chemistry and biology from Indiana University in only three years. After that, he attended Indiana University School of Medicine to receive his Doctor of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the Indiana University Medical Center.
After residency, Dr. Combs attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, for a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Trauma. At Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Combs not only learned under top orthopedic surgeons, but also partcipated in research. Upon returning to Indiana, he practiced several years at Central Indiana Orthopedic Center, followed by Sports Medicine Institute of Indiana, which was later integrated into Community Orthopedics.
Now, Dr. Combs is practicing independently. He sees patients from all across Indiana, and has offices in both Fishers and Westfield.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Combs has published the following research articles on orthopedic studies:
- Arthroscopic acromioclavicular joint resection: An anatomical study. The American Journal of Sports Medicine. Volume 19, Number 1.
